Dr. Debra Tetreault Board Certified General Pediatrician Dr. Tetreault joined Kids Care in 1998. She attended the University of Alabama Medical School and did her pediatric residency at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Before moving to Johnston County, she lived in Phoenix, where she ran an inner-city pediatric clinic and developed a program for babies exposed to drugs before birth. She moved to Johnston County to be a small-town doctor so she can watch her patients grow up and become wonderful adults. Being a part of their lives is the best part of the job! |
Ms. Shelli Hoyes Nurse Practitioner Ms. Hoyes is a nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. She started her career as a pediatric nurse at UNC Childrens Hospital in 2006 and transitioned to working as a nurse practitioner at Kids Care Pediatrics in 2019. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at UNC Chapel Hill. Ms. Hoyes is dedicated to helping children grow and develop as well as helping them feel better when they’re sick. She also works hard to support parents in their role as caregivers. Some of her favorite things are spoiling her pets, traveling to other countries, and trying new and different types of food. |
